Serbia's share in a project for the construction of a nuclear power plant in Bulgaria could exceed 20% if the government in Belgrade secures cheap financing from abroad, Serbian media quoted the country's Energy Minister, Petar Skundric, as saying. American AES Solar Energy to build Europe’s largest solar park in Bulgaria
“American AES Solar Energy intends to build Europe’s largest solar PV (photovoltaic) power plant near the town of Silistra,” said yesterday US Ambassador to Bulgaria James Warlick, quoted by BTA. The number of investors in Bulgaria is growing again
The number of investors in Bulgaria started going up again, said in Parliament Bulgarian Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Traicho Traikov. In March alone 424 companies have made investments. In February their number was 349 against 214 in January, figures all showing a positive tendency. Minister Traikov confirmed, however, that in the first trimester of 2010 the Central Bank registers a decrease of the nominal valued of direct foreign investments by almost EUR 22 million.
